Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! John and I enjoyed a nice holiday in Midland and saw lots of my family. I spent a good bit of my time with my new niece Mary Emma. She is so precious and has just started smiling! She is growing so fast!

John got to play some golf, sleep in and watch loads of football. It was wonderful seeing all the family. Unfortunately my grandmother had to be hospitalized, but she has been released and is recovering at home. She has been enduring a lot of pain and needs extra help around the house, so please pray for an end to her pain and a speedy recovery.
Because we went to Midland for Thanksgiving, we are planning to go to Eldorado for Christmas to be with John's family. We are really looking forward to that! It is so fun to get to be with our nieces and nephews on Christmas morning. John and I have always bought a real Christmas tree, so I imagine we will be getting one soon and decorating the house. I love Christmas time and usually go overboard. It's just tradition I guess. This time of year is my favorite because we just get to spend so much time with family starting from Thanksgiving and going on through New Years. Not to mention I always have loved bad weather!
The job search is still on. I have a couple of possibilities I am hoping to hear more about this week, so wish me luck! I will keep you posted! Have a super week!
